Course Overview


The Diploma in Film Editing trains students to blend storytelling, technical proficiency, and creative decision-making to produce polished, professional video content. Through hands-on practice in editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, learners gain the skills to edit films, commercials, social media content, documentaries, and more. The course concludes with a Portfolio & Showreel Development module, enabling students to present industry-ready projects and a refined editor's showreel.

    In India, demand for video editors is rising sharply thanks to the explosion in video content creation: streaming platforms, social media, online video, and digital advertising all contribute.
    The global video editing software market (a proxy for demand for editing skills) was estimated at about USD 3.09 billion in 2023, and is expected to grow to USD 5.13 billion by 2032 (CAGR ~5.8%).
